FAIR ORGANISERS MEETING

FOCUSING ON

“INCREASING FOOTFALL”

ON WED 26 MARCH 2014

AT CAVALRY AND GUARDS CLUB

127 PICCADILLY LONDON W1J 7PX

It has been decided that the FOs annual meeting will be themed around a topic central to all FOs hearts “increasing footfall”. Whilst providing excellent networking opportunities there will be useful presentations and workshops to help FOs increase their numbers at fairs. This was something that was mentioned many times at the conference and it was clear that many FOs would appreciate help and advice on this subject, including a social media presentation particularly focused on promoting their charity fair.

10.30 Coffee

11.00 Introduction to the day

11.15 Using Social Media to increase your footfall – presentation by Tasha Harrison

12.15 Exploring additional ways to publicise your fair – short talks by experts about signposting, printing options, hints from other charities

1.00 Sandwich Lunch and networking

2.00 “Increasing footfall” workshop. Group building of a publicity PR campaign for a fictitious fair with experts on hand to advise.

3.30 Open forum and discussion

4.00 Finish

By the end of the day FO’s should be able to take away a model publicity plan to adapt to their own fairs which should help to increase their footfall. There will also have been ample opportunity for exchange of views and networking.
