Some of the Charities Our Fairs Support

About the CFA - Charity Fairs Association

The Charity Fairs are not traditional ‘Charity Shop’ style events, this is a different way of raising money for the charity through selling. Our events are all run by individual Fair Organisers and committees in painstakingly chosen venues ranging from village halls to castles. Our Stallholders are all individual, knowledgeable, professional small businesses who travel around the venues with their gorgeous, unique, brand new products raising money for the fairs chosen charity by donating 10% of their days’ takings. The CFA is a non-profit making organisation on a self-financing basis and is a self-regulatory body.

The main aims of the CFA are...

  • To set, promote and monitor a recognisably high standard for members’ participation in charity fairs. The CFA is the only organisation that does this.
  • To help raise money for many charities.
  • To forge a closer understanding between fair organisers and stallholders.
  • To protect fair organisers from unprofessional stallholders and vice versa.
  • To offer suitable reasons for fair organisers and stallholders to become and remain members, eg. networking meetings, relevant seminars, advisory service and insurance packages, marketing assistance, relevant publications

Are you a CFA member yet?

Charity Fairs have, since their birth some 30 years ago, become major businesses. The Charity Fairs Association was founded to assist in the growth of this sector and to help the relationships between charities and small independent retailing businesses. Being a CFA member brings with it a wealth of benefits and cost savings.
