It is preferable if you know 2 members of the CFA who could be referees as this can speed up your application. If you do, please ensure that you can supply their correct email address and that you have asked them if they are happy to be contacted by the CFA to do you a reference. If you do not know anyone this is not a problem. It means that your application will be referred to the committee and a member of the committee may contact you to discuss your application further.
Applications will usually be considered from individuals and independent traders working within an organisation. Applications from limited companies and franchisees will normally be carefully scrutinised to ensure that they comply with the basic requirements for membership. Please note we do not accept applications from Wholesalers.
All applicants will be expected to follow the guidelines given in the Best Practice for Stallholders document (see relevant page above) and it is important to read these carefully before submitting your application.
