Liability Insurance renewal?
See what the CFA has to offer!
As an Appointed Representative of Clear Insurance Management, the Charity Fairs Association is now uniquely placed to provide tailored insurance solutions for its members against a range of insurance risks.
As you will know, it is a condition of your membership that you hold Public, Products and Employers Liability Insurance and whilst you are free to arrange insurance elsewhere, we believe The Charity Fairs Exhibitors' and Stallholders' Liabilities Protection Scheme to be a highly competitive alternative.
Our scheme renewed on 1st January 2008 and in response to significant demand from members we secured an increased Public and Products Liability cover of £5m indemnity at remarkably competitive terms. The total payable this year is only £65 including IPT, which includes a small administration charge of £15.
The cover provided is very briefly as follows:
- Employers Liability provides cover for you against claims arising from any employee that sustains bodily injury, illness or disease during the course of their employment with you. The Indemnity limit is £10m.
- Public Liability provides cover for claims against you for personal injuries to a third party such as a visitor to a charity fair, or damage to their property. The Indemnity limit is currently £5m
- Products Liability provides cover for claims against you arising from the supply of products and causing injury, illness or damage to third parties or their property. The Indemnity limit is currently £5m
It is not to be confused with Charity Fairs Personal Accident Protection which is a membership benefit providing compensation if you suffer an accidental bodily injury which entirely prevents you from engaging in exhibition, show or fair activities.
Please remember that it is a condition of membership that you have adequate liability insurance and unless arranged by the CFA we will require evidence of your cover from you.
We can also provide cover for your Business Property via Clear Insurance, whom you should contact directly on 020 8329 4900 and ask for Philip Keightley.
